Junghyun Kim (Eugene)
Eugene is a Software Engineer at Google LLC. He received M.S. in Computer Science in Dec 2018 from Georgia Institute of Technology and B.S. in Computer Science in Dec 2017 from Georgia Institute of Technology. While at Georgia Tech, he had an experience in Algorithms, cryptography, database, and high performance computing through research or teaching assistantships and internships.
One of his biggest strength is a strong foundation in algorithm and mathematics. He participated in computing olympiad when he was in high school where he learned a number of algorithms beyond college course level and problem solving skills; he also took a variety of fundamental math courses from which he built a good foundation in mathematics.
He is a really passionate about learning new concepts, collaborating with others, and approaching a problem in a different perspective from others.
